Aggregators are programs that scan and gather podcasts feeds, pages of code that are used to share images, audio (podcasts), and other media files. There are many free aggregators from which to choose. Two options that work for Mac and PC users are:
iTunes 4.9 and above
Odeo
Go to iTunes
Using these audio software options you will be able to listen to podcast audio from your computer. If you want to make your podcasts portable, you will need to download them from your computer to a portable digital music player.
Do I need an iPod?
No, you do not need to own an iPod to enjoy a podcast. Neither podcasting nor listening to podcasts requires an iPod. Any digital audio player or computer with audio-playing software can store and play podcasts.
