David H. Bailey

David Hullfish Bailey currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. He received his B.A. from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. He also earned an M.T.A. from the Harvard Divinity School and an M.F.A. from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. From the mid 1990’s Bailey has exhibited both nationally and internationally. He has also participated in a variety of group exhibitions and collaborative projects, as well as lectured and performed throughout Europe and the United States. Bailey and his works have been written about in a series of English and German publication including, Artforum, Flash Art, Artext, and the Los Angeles Times. He is the author/creator of the book entitled Union Pacific: Berlin's Neue Mitte and the Fringes of Las Vegas. Recent works include Schindler Shelter, a project related to the examination of space in Los Angeles. Currently, Bailey’s work can be seen at the Daniel Hug Gallery in Los Angeles, California.
